Elder William K. Garr
Pastor William K. Garr is a native of Lancaster, Kentucky. He is a graduate of Lexington Theological Seminary, Lexington, Kentucky and he has completed a four year training program from Education for Ministry in Sewanee, Tennessee. Pastor Garr is an Ordained Licensed and Commissioned Minister of the Disciple of Christ Churches.
Pastor Garr began his ministry in February of 1990 when he preached his initial sermon at East Maple Street Christian Church under the leadership of Bishop Michael E. Harris.
After leading the congregation of Broadway Christian Church in Germantown, Ky for four years, Pastor Garr answered the call to Pastor Seventh Street Christian Church in September 1994.
Pastor Garr is a past President of the Kentucky Christian Missionary Convention where he has held many positions in the past. Also; he has served on several various boards in the local community.
A kind, humble man of God, Pastor Garr attributes all things to Christ whom strengthens him. Pastor Garr and his lovely wife Deborah have been married for over 40 years and they reside in Paris, Kentucky. Their union has been blessed by God with three adult children, Marcius, Krystal and Whitne and they have ten grandchildren.
